Brandon Costelloe-Kuehn holds a doctorate from the Department of Science and Technology Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he is currently a Lecturer in Information Technology, Environment and Society. Using multi-sited ethnographic methods, his research examines, and participates in, the design of innovative environmental media systems to address the communication and collaboration challenges of politically and scientifically complex environmental issues. He works within a number of collaborative endeavors, including an ethnographic project called The Asthma Files, the Platform for Experimental, Collaborative Ethnography (PECE) and the Digital Practices in History and Ethnography Interest Group within the Research Data Alliance.
Brandon is the lead designer and developer on the Multispecies Salon website, produced video for the section on paraethnography and, along with Eben Kirksey and Dorion Sagan, contributed to “Life in the Age of Biotechnology.”
